Simon Roussin has quickly become one of my favourite author of french contemporary comic books. Like Anouk Ricard or Bastien Vivès, I know that I can buy each one of his publications with eyes closed. I grew up reading classic Belgian, French and American comics: from Tintin to Thorgal, Foerster to Astérix. Simon Roussin's work's main subject is still, as in my childhood stories, the myth of the hero, but he manages to bring a modern and surprizing twist to it.
