Cecy Young is a young fashion photographer based in Paris that I discovered through her flawless instagram account (by the way, she's currently travelling in her home country of Mexico for the summer, and is doing a wonderful job documenting her journey on instagram — go check it out!). She has an excellent eye for color and creates delightful pastel palettes. She has worked for fun brands such as Lazy Oaf, RAD or Club Pétanque, and magazines such as Nylon and Paulette. Cecy Young is definitely in my "ones to watch" list, and I can't wait to see what she'll produce when she'll work with totally different brands. I can definitely see her shooting an unexpected lookbook for Miu Miu or working with the wonderful Shona Heath as a set designer. Click on read more to see selected works, and enjoy!
Cecy Young est une jeune photographe de mode travaillant actuellement à Paris que j'ai découvert par son très beau compte instagram (elle est d'ailleurs en plein road trip à travers Mexico, son pays natal, et document son voyage sur instagram — ça donne envie d'y aller !). Elle a le don de manipuler la couleur à la perfection, et créé de superbes palettes de pastels. Elle a travaillé avec des marques cools comme Lazy Oaf, RAD ou Club Pétanque, et des magazines comme Nylon et Paulette. Cecy Young fait définitivement partie de ma liste de "jeunes talents" à garder à l'oeil, et j'ai hâte de voir ce qu'elle créera quand elle aura l'occasion de travailler avec des marques totalement différentes. Je l'imagine bien shooter un lookbook complètement inattendu pour Miu Miu ou travailler avec la géniale Shona Heath comme set designer.
