I've recently finished reading Big Sur by Jack Kerouac, a 1962 novel part of Kerouac's Duluoz Legend series, and I think I've liked it even more than I liked his cult classic On the road, that I read a few years ago. Being reunited with Jack Duluoz and his crew, particularly with the great Dean "Cody" Moriarty was exhilarating. It got me thinking about this incredible illustrated version of On the road by artist Paul Rogers that I stumbled upon back then.
At the time, he had decided to illustrate each 309 pages of the novel. The good news is : he has finished this project in late 2014. The bad news is that he has been denied the right to publish it by the Kerouac Estate, and I will not be able to get my hands on it for the time being. But I'm sure things will turn around. This is just too good to not get a physical version of it !
